Cable Provider Rules for cabling registration
The CPR Restricted Registration Course is designed for the purpose of the Australian Communications Authority’s "Restricted Cabling Provider Rule. Restricted cabling is used in typical domestic premises but is also found in some small office, home offices and small business premises situations.
This course applies to customer cabling terminated on sockets and network termination devices (NTD) but ONLY ON PREMISES without a distributor and where the premises have an electrical supply voltage of 240 V AC single-phase or 415 V AC three-phase.
Customer cabling, for the purpose of this course, may be used to connect devices for a range of applications including:
Telecommunications (phones, facsimile and answering machines)
Simple data and computer use
Security alarm panels
Fire control panels
Prerequisite: Delegates should have previously completed training in Occupational Health and Safety.
Course Outcomes
Upon completion of the course, delegates will be able to:
Install/alter cables and protective earth wires
Terminate and test cables and earth wires
Create records
Monitor work activity

Cancellation of booking less than 10 working days prior to starting date attracts a 50% administration charge.
